Cool Geekout Notes

There is a high pitched soprano style synth sound that travels throughout the entire piece.

That part  seems to poke its head in and out of the song like a ghost or spirit (or some such haunted silliness). The interesting thing about this is that it was intended for a different songs with different chords, different melodies. I imported it inside a template I was using when I was just starting to record and program the song. Part way through the initial recording, I noticed that I hadn't muted the already recorded and now out of place part. It ended up working in a why not sort of way. Some notes ALMOST don't work at all, but it still bends your ear and I just love how it seems to play at its own accord as it's not in any time related to the song.

It's almost my favorite part. Funny how it's not supposed to be there. Just like a ghost, right?
